Professional Biography
Jill Newman is a Research Analyst in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Kentucky. She received a B.S. in Biology (2013) at Northeastern University and M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology (2017) at Clemson University. While at Clemson, Jill investigated species distribution, abundance, and physiology of green salamanders in their disjunct range. Jill’s interests include hiking, kayaking, tennis, playing the saxophone, wildlife photography, and watching Boston sports.
